Here we got a movie straight to DVD but for me this is worth watching in big screen although if you compare this to the original Jason Statham Death Race my bet still on the first Death Race. The movie is a prequel explaining the beginning of Frankenstein. If your a big fan of the first Death Race this is worth watching it has same gore and blood of the first Death Race and added bonus of the great actor Danny Trejo. The transition of Frankenstein story to the story of Jason Statham Death Race was great and they manage to connect the two movie in a very nice way. All in all this movie deserve to be played on your dvd player.

Nicolas Cage will star his year together with one of my favorite actor Ron Perlman in Season of Witch. Nicolas Cage will throw himself on a medieval time as a 14th century knight. Together with Perlman both of them must transport a witch who is suspected to be source of the plague. They must bring the witch to a monastery monk to perform a ritual hoping to end the curse plague.

Still crossing my fingers to this movie hoping this won't sucks The Green Hornet is not new to many of us and many of The Green Hornet fans still have a doubt if this Seth Rogen version will pull the string and deliver what the viewer is expecting.

Although the title of this movie is very offensive still I give it a shot and watch the movie. All I can say is I wasted hour and a half of my life watching this film, yeah I'd expect nudity for this film but I don't expect nudity all over the film plus the very much offensive scene like raping a poor old nun for no reason at all (I actually skip that part). The movie will give what the title said and that's all.

Don't expect a heavy story and great acting co'z you will get disappointed. If you like head shot, heavy dose of nudity and lot of blasphemy then this movie is for you.

My Sherlock Holmes short Movie Review

Just couple of hours ago I've watched Sherlock Holmes as part of my weekend escape route. Sherlock Holmes is one of many movie I've seen that I used almost 100% of my brain cells if you don't listen and concentrate watching the movie it will be hard to understand the flow of the story.

The combination of Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. really pull the string to that movie the superb acting of both actor will really throw the viewer to the Sherlock Holmes universe I also salute the heavy detail of the film from the costume design to the very little detail of the set. The first 30 minutes of the film really give me a hard time to understand the flow of the story good thing I managed to follow the flow of the story till the end

All in all I really enjoy the movie and I'm expecting a sequel as soon as possible.

My Avatar short Review

Two days after the showing of Avatar here in the Philippines I finally got time to watch Avatar with my wife after we do some shopping. I’m really excited to watch Avatar after reading a couple of reviews. I was amazed in the first 20 minutes of the movie and got the story quickly and yes I agree to some review about the similarity of Avatar with the movie of Kevin Costner’s Dances With the Wolves.

Anyway the movie is a blast the special effect is superb, hope I can watch Avatar in 3D theater this next week. About the actor Sam Worthington he really pull the plug I really like his performance together with Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez. It’s a good holiday treat to watch Avatar.

All in all Avatar is a very good piece of film although the story is predictable but the beauty of the movie lies within the superb visual effect thanks to ILM and WETA for bringing this kind of movie.

Just saw G.I Joe: Rise of the Cobra a few hours ago, well this movie didn't dissappoint me the acting is not bad the visual effects is good and it's really fun to watch East(Byung-hun Lee) vs. West(Ray Park) swords fight. Snake Eyes still have the move of Darth Maul.

Although the ending scene kinda lame for me and first 2 minutes really confused my wife lols.

Things I hate on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

The most anticipated movie this year summer the Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen is already on the big screen and many of us seen it already, some of us enjoy laughed and mesmerize the movie but some of us stand-up and walk quietly after the movie. Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen is a movie you really can't miss and kudos to director Michael Bay for the fantasic work.

But like many blockbuster movie Transformers ROTF is movie with a crap. Don't get me wrong i like Transformers ROTF and I'm stupid if I say I didn't enjoy the movie. The movie is almosr closely to perfection for my own opinion but the director is just a human and there's nothing wrong about it.

I'm glad that director Michael Bay listened to many fans about their complains of the first installment. And this year we see more interaction between Megatron and Starscream, more robot and more exposure of robot (since they are the real star of this movie).

After reading tons of Transformers: ROTF review I can say that all in all Transformers: ROTF is a movie I didn't expect to like this.

Here are the list of the things I hate about the movie.

Lady decepticons. I really don't get the idea of putting a sexy decepticon just to lured Sam.

Lame Jokes. I know most us didn't buy some of the jokes of films

Jar Jar Twins, Autobots is suppose to be a tough robot that protect humankind from evil decepticons so why there are racist ghetto robots in this film?

Sam Witwicky stupid roomate. That guy really annoyed from start till the end of the movie.

But no question ask I enjoy watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with a movie full of explosion, robot bashing each other face and the hot Megan Fox.
